Life can be difficult and at times the challenges we face feel impossible. No one should walk through life’s challenges and hardships alone. Everyone deserves a chance to break free from the emotional weight. The decision to attend therapy takes courage and is the first step toward change. Therapy is a place to explore thoughts, behaviors, and emotions with acceptance and support. My passion and approach are with great empathy to help those in need. I provide a safe and nurturing environment for healing and transformation. I believe happiness within ourself can strengthen relationships throughout our lives. I understand individuals may struggle or feel uncomfortable through the healing process. Building trust and a strong rapport is at the core of my practice. I work collaboratively and uniquely to help process emotions and experiences to reach established goals. My therapeutic style is centered around compassion, trust, and respect. My goal is to provide a space for clients to be heard, experience healing, and feel empowered.
I believe each person has a unique story and experiences which impact our daily lives. I integrate mindfulness and self-care into my practice. My education and training have exposed me to multiple theoretical approaches. However, I look to apply an approach tailored and customized to meet the needs of the client(s). I gravitate toward experiential, emotion-focused, psychodynamic, and humanistic/existential; however, my experience has provided exposure and knowledge with cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral (DBT) approaches. I enjoy working with individuals, adolescents, and couples. My specialties include working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, decreasing shame and guilt, trust, emotional processing, trauma, and effective confidence building; as well as, other issues.
I am committed to the journey and will walk alongside you as a support, life coach, and mentor. I look forward to working with you.

Looking to gain tools, break difficult patterns, and feel like yourself again, not just talk? I support individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, or feeling disconnected. I aim to help you better understand your experiences and move toward lasting change. Using a compassionate, person-centered approach I help clients and relationships build on their strengths, increase self-awareness, develop practical skills that can be used outside of session, and create meaningful transformation. I understand how hard it can be to not know where to start or how to move forward.
Therapy with me is supportive, honest, and focused on meaningful change. I provide insight to understand how the brain impacts thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. With couples, I use the Gottman Method to improve communication, strengthen connection, and shift unhealthy patterns, while always leading with empathy and honesty.
I am here for you every step of the way. I know it can be difficult sometimes to initiate therapy and I am happy to offer a free, no pressure, 15 minute consultation to help get you started. If I’m not the right fit, I’d be happy to refer you to someone who may be. Please reach out if you are interested in learning more.

Life can feel messy at times, and the struggles we face often feel like more than we can handle on our own. Reaching out for support is a brave step, and I believe no one should have to navigate those struggles in isolation.

I’m Sean. My journey into this work began with navigating my own mental health challenges many years ago and supporting others through stress, trauma, and life transitions. I’ve seen how even the smallest moments of insight and connection can change the direction of a life.
I don’t see therapy as a place where someone tells you what to do.

I don’t see therapy as a place where someone tells you what to do. I see it as a space for collaboration, exploration, and growth. As a therapist, I’m not here to choose your path — I’m here to walk it with you.
Think of me as a guide and a companion. You don’t have to go it alone. You don’t have to navigate the wilderness of life without context, knowledge, or support. I offer a partnership built on trust and understanding.
My style is warm and collaborative, blending evidence-based approaches with a grounded, human perspective.

Hi, I’m Kim. I’m a retired Air Force medic, a mom, and a military spouse—and I show up to therapy as a real human being, not a clipboard. My clients describe me as warm, easy to talk to, and honest in a caring way. I understand what it’s like to juggle stress, family, life transitions, and the weight of past experiences.

My clients describe me as warm, easy to talk to, and honest in a caring way. I understand what it’s like to juggle stress, family, life transitions, and the weight of past experiences.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, codependency, relationship patterns, and personality-related challenges. I’m especially passionate about working with children and teens who struggle with ADHD, ASD, and behavioral concerns.
I also bring both personal and professional understanding of AL-Anon family dynamics and how growing up around addiction can shape the way we see ourselves, others, and relationships. I am trained in Brainspotting and take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to care.
I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and judgment-free. I’m here to help you explore what’s happening underneath—the thoughts, patterns, and emotions that may be keeping you stuck—while also offering practical tools to help you move forward.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. You just have to show up, and I’ll meet you where you are.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is genuine, relatable, and not afraid to talk about the hard things with honesty and compassion, I’d love to work with you.

I specialize in working with young adults and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, emotional eating, and mild substance use. For instance, you may have grown up in a home that lacked stability or support, or found yourself on a path that feels overwhelming or out of your control. You might cope with those difficult feelings through food or substance use. You may also hide parts of yourself out of fear of being misunderstood or judged if others were to see your true self.
I also support individuals navigating major life transitions or cultural challenges. As a first-generation immigrant who built a life in a foreign country as a young adult without the support of family, I understand what it means to rebuild identity, stability, and belonging in a new environment—without losing your values or sense of self.
My approach is holistic and collaborative, grounded in curiosity and cultural sensitivity. Together, we explore repeating patterns, connect the mind and body to increase emotional awareness, and develop healthier coping skills. Although I was trained within a medical model, I place significant emphasis on lifestyle and nutrition to best support brain health and overall well-being.
Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or even scary. I create a supportive space where you can be yourself and work through what feels heavy, moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable. You’re welcome to reach out through my website https://www.integrativehealthcounseling.com or by email to see if we’re a good fit.
